In its ongoing analysis of performativity’s mechanisms, of the bounds between representation, technique and existential crack, the Collettivo Cinetico company attained Sherlock, a fun show for youngsters produced with the glorious “Teatro delle Briciole” from Parma. Following the thesis of Arthur Conan Doyle, the “Sherlock Holmes’” father, according to whom “the world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes”, the show is based on a funny, twinkly deductive investigation.
The Watson Ltd. cleaning staff has to remove the signs of the previous night show, and to do that, first it has to retrace them “scientifically”. A journey through different dance styles and choreographic opportunities, to show how the imagination drive can define the ways in which art can transfigure reality.
